Stratepedia develops web-based tools for education researchers, professional developers, instructional coaches, teachers, and school administrators using the Strategic Instruction Model® and the Content Literacy Continuum® in schools. We develop our tools along with the people who use them every day in classrooms across the country, giving them a voice in how technology may be best put to use in instruction.
In addition to development, we also work to identify emerging technology trends and explore ways in which they may be put to use in strategic instruction. From desktop video conferencing to social networking, we're eager to put new technologies to work!
Tools don't need to complicated to be effective. We work directly with our constituents to create easy-to-use, powerful technology solutions to help researchers at the University of Kansas Center for Research on Learning solve bigger issues in adolescent literacy.
Above all, we believe that instructional technology shouldn't take a back seat to enterprise technology or consumer technology. Instead of thinking of ways ideas won't work, we spend our energy breaking down the barriers that slow acceptance of new technology in education. Our goal is to keep instructors and researchers ahead of the curve instead of forever trying to catch up.
